Second, is good enough.
Upper Sec Sports Heats, 2008.The most tiring day of my life, but it was awesomely good.

Father, thank You once again for showing me You care. It rained the moment i cried out to You for mercy. I thank You for letting me vent out my anger, calm me down, and set me off to run again. For that, all glory goes to you alone. ♥
Although i gave up running 800m to Syahidah in replacement of me, i'm glad and grateful to her for coming in 2nd, despite her knee injury. I'm sure if i went ahead to run for both the events i'm taking part in, i would end up empty handed. Yet again, i thank God for letting me make the right choice. :D
And if you were wondering what's on a runner's mind, let me do you the honour and tell you all about it.

And there you go, that was on my mind as i was running. Haha, just joking. Hm, i kept praying throughout the 400m, asked Him to give me strength and push me to complete the run. Could also hear people screaming my name and that somehow spurred me on to complete the run too. Oh, and did i mention i was super close to her at the last curb? Yeah, many people told me i could have gotten the first place too. But frankly, it doesn't matter if i could have gotten first or not. Exactly like what a good friend/brother-in-Christ told me, 'Champions are not people who don't lose, they're people who don't quit', well said ain't it?
Plus, i'm thankful for everything around me. Includes people like Miss Chee, Mr Yuen, Isabella, Syahidah, Alawiyyah, Germane, Vivian, Kuihong, Peiling, Bball seniors and last but definitely not the least, Sweetheart. :D Thankyou all for being there when i wanted to faint/collapse/die/couldn't stand up/butt-ached/cried. Thankyou for cheering me up and asking if i was alright.
I am alright and i will continue to be okay. :D

2. Mr Yuen said, "You can do it, Charmaine. Do it for the house and most importantly, yourself" & "I'm proud of you". For the first time, after like 1 year of being my Literature teacher. (I told you, he's superly nice)
3. I think my butt still hurts, and idk why.
